GoodSam Medical Center recently participated in the annual Diabetes Awareness themed “Gulay Pa More! Para Iwas Diabetes” organized by one of GoodSam Internist-Endocrinologists, Dr. George B. Tan. The event took place at NE Pacific Mall Atrium last July 6, 2024.

GoodSam Med offered free blood pressure checks to the attendees and giveaways, courtesy of Ritemed. GoodSam Eye and Laser Center also participated with free Retina Screening. Attendees were offered free health screenings, including blood glucose testing, Pad screening, Diabetes Education, Nutritional Counselling and a Gulay Pantry.

This event aimed to raise awareness about diabetes prevention, management, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The hospital looks forward to continuing its efforts, participating in raising awareness and providing support for individuals affected by diabetes.
