GoodSam Medical Center hosted a special Alagang GoodSam OPD Day, offering a variety of free health services and wellness to the community. The event aimed to help individuals stay informed about their health, particularly in managing and preventing conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.

The hospital offered free blood pressure (BP) monitoring and random blood sugar (RBS) testing, helping patients stay informed about their cardiovascular and metabolic health. These services were essential for early detection of conditions like hypertension and diabetes, both of which are prevalent in the community.

GoodSam Eye and Laser Center also contributed by providing free retina screening to all attendees. The screening is crucial for detecting early signs of eye conditions, particularly for patients with diabetes, which can lead to severe complications if left untreated.

In addition to the health checks, the Abott PH; Pediasure, Glucerna and Ensure, also provided free milk samplings to outpatients, promoting the importance of nutrition as part of a healthy lifestyle.
This OPD Day was one of many events organized during the hospital’s weeklong 46th founding anniversary celebration.
