GoodSam Medical Center held a highly successful seminar on mental health awareness, aimed specifically at its dedicated employees. The event, which took place on August 1, 2024 during the hospital’s 46th Founding Anniversary, was led by GoodSam Psychiatrist Dr. Bernard B. Argamosa, who delivered an insightful and empowering presentation.

The seminar, titled “Mental Health Matters: Awareness and Management Seminar,” focused on the importance of mental health for healthcare professionals, who often face high levels of stress and burnout. Dr. Argamosa provided valuable insights into recognizing signs of mental health challenges, coping strategies, and the significance of seeking help when needed.

The lecture concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where employees were able to discuss their concerns and receive personalized advice from Dr. Argamosa.

Dr. Carmina Niña S. Grantoza, Hospital Administrator, who also attended the seminar, said that the hospital is committed to creating a comprehensive program that supports their well-being, both on and off the job. She suggested to develop mental health programs tailored to the needs of hospital staff.
